Syrian linguist and poet.

– Born in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor, graduated from the University of Damascus, Department of Arabic Language in 2003, studied Islamic sciences at Badr al-Din al-Hasani Institute, and obtained a diploma in educational qualification from the University of Damascus.

He worked in teaching Arabic in Damascus, and his books (Bright Positions from History / Part One) and (How Their Dreams Became Reality) were printed in Istanbul, as well as the verification of the two books (Clear Grammar) for the primary and secondary levels.

He has a poetry collection, two novels, a collection of short stories, and other works in print.

Prof. Mazen Hashem / Syria

ولد في مدينة دمشق وبدأ تعليمه الجامعي فيها، وتخصّص في علم الاجتماع وحصل على درجة الدكتوراه فيه من جامعة كاليفورنيا في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. وهو أستاذ جامعي في جامعة جنوب كاليفورنيا، وحديثاً أستاذ زائر في الجامعات التركية. وهو مؤسّس مركز الدراسات الحضارية في كاليفورنيا، ورئيس تحرير مجلة الرشاد، وعضو سابق في مجلس إدارة رابطة علماء الاجتماعيات المسلمين في أمريكا، وعضو الجمعية الأمريكية لعلم الاجتماع. وعمل مديراً للبحوث في مركز عمران للدراسات الاستراتيجية. وله العديد من المقالات المطبوعة في الدوريات العلمية، ولقد تنوعت بحوثه في حقول عدة بما فيها مراجعات في الفكر الإسلامي، ومقاصد الشريعة، ومنهجية البحث، وحركات التغيير، والتنمية المتوازنة، والوجود المسلم في شمال أمريكا.

Prof. Dr. Abdul Majeed Al-Zindani / Yemen

He was born in the city of “Al-Saddah” in the Yemeni province of “Ibb” in 1942, and his origins go back to the “Zindan” region in the “Sana’a” province.

He joined the Faculty of Pharmacy in Egypt and studied there for two years, then left it because of his interest in Islamic law.

Sheikh Al-Zindani studied under a group of sheikhs of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. He later obtained a doctorate from Omdurman Islamic University in Sudan.

Sheikh Al-Zindani is one of the most prominent Yemeni politicians, as well as one of the most prominent Islamic preachers in the Islamic nation. He founded the University of Iman in Sana’a, and the International Authority for Scientific Miracles in the Qur’an and Sunnah, affiliated with the World Supreme Council of Mosques in Mecca Al-Mukarramah. He was preoccupied with establishing the scientific miracle in religious texts, and interpreting cosmic phenomena through it. Sheikh Al-Zindani enriched the Arab and Islamic library with many religious and scientific works.

Dr. Karim Darwish / Egypt

A researcher in the fields of computational linguistics and computational humanities, his scientific specialization combines computer science, linguistics, sociology and psychology. He has authored dozens of scientific research papers in Arabic and English, and these papers have been published in the most important international conferences and scientific journals. He has also participated in writing many specialized scientific books.

He has published several scientific studies on sensitive issues related to Arab and Islamic affairs, on topics such as military interference in politics, hostility against Muslims in the West, the impact of the Arab Spring on extremist groups, and the role of targeted propaganda on social media.

Dr. Karim Darwish worked at the University of Maryland in the United States, Cairo University, and the German University in Cairo, and worked as a researcher at Microsoft and IBM, and currently holds the position of Senior Research Scientist at the Qatar Computing Research Institute, part of Qatar Foundation.

Mr. Ali Al-Sawy / Egypt

Egyptian writer and journalist, born in 1988.

He grew up in a conservative environment with roots in the sheikhs of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. He studied at the Institute of Quranic Readings in Cairo and graduated from the Faculty of Media, Cairo University, in 2015, as an open student.

He made the issues of his countrymen and his nation his first cause, as he began with the events of the January 2011 revolution by engaging with the events through writing critical analytical articles in several websites in Egypt and Turkey, including the International Hacking Newspaper in Alexandria and the Egyptian Witness Newspaper in Cairo, and then in Turkey the magazine (Ishraq) which is published in Arabic and Turkish, and the Turkish website (Turk Press) which speaks Arabic, and writing articles on the website Arabi21.

The author published the book (Loving Hymns), which deals with contemporary and youth issues, including social, emotional and preventive issues in a narrative context, and the book (A Cry of a Pen), which shed light on the issues of the Arab region and its internal situations in light of the current tensions, focusing more on the Syrian issue and the suffering of Syrians in the diaspora.

Between these periods, I worked as an educational supervisor in the field of teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and as an educational supervisor until 2020.

A. Orhan Muhammed Ali / Türkiye

An engineer, historian, thinker, writer, political analyst, author and translator, he was born in the city of Kirkuk in Iraq in 1937 to the Turkmen Al-Bayati family. He completed his university studies at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 1962 with a master’s degree in civil engineering.

He returned to Iraq in 1964 and worked in the Ministry of Housing and Construction as a chief engineer. He was passionate about science and knowledge, so he re-joined Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad and obtained a bachelor’s degree in management and economics in 1976.

He was an avid reader of books in various fields. He wrote and translated many scientific, historical and intellectual books from Turkish and English into Arabic, filling an important gap in the Arabic library. You are drawn to him by the soundness of his logic, the depth of his thinking, his comprehensiveness of the subject and his treatment of it from all sides in his own style and easy and enjoyable manner.

He retired in 1994 and traveled to Istanbul, where he settled until his death on 2/8/2010, after a life full of sincere and diligent work to defend Islam in all forums.

PhD in Interpretation and Qur’anic Sciences from the University of Omdurman in 2005.

He worked as a professor of interpretation and Quranic sciences at the Higher Institute of Sunnis and Jama’ah in southern Iran, Bandar Lengeh, and the Imam Abu Hanifa Institute in Torbat Jam, eastern Iran.

An author, translator and poet, he has published 9+ more than a hundred books in the Persian language, including writing, translation and poetry. He is considered the first to publish poetry books and stories for children for Sunnis in southern and eastern Iran, as he has published more than 35 books for children, and his books have spread throughout all Sunni cities in Iran.
